Carskiey Estate

Carskiey House and Shore Cottage form part of Carskiey Estate’s 7,500 remote and private acres including the famous Mull of Kintyre, on the west coast of Scotland. Its spectacular location is on one of the most breathtakingly beautiful destinations on the Scottish mainland: the Kintyre peninsula. The house and cottage overlook Carskiey Bay with magnificent views to Sanda Island, Ailsa Craig and Northern Ireland. It the closest point on the UK mainland to Ireland.

The estate, with its mix of sandy beaches, rocky cliffs and hill, is located five miles from Southend, a small community with Dunaverty golf course (it has been said its greens are better than St. Andrews’). Carskiey is eleven miles from Campbeltown, one of only four recognized whisky-producing regions in Scotland and its airport with daily scheduled flights to Glasgow and also the hamlet of Macrihanish with its two world class Links golf courses.

Carskiey is home to a remarkable biodiversity of wildlife thanks to the Gulf Stream that sweeps through undisturbed flora and fauna. Bordered on two sides by nine and a half miles of breathtaking coastline, this truly is a very special place.

Carskiey House and Shore Cottage are available to let throughout the year either individually or together. Please click here to provide contact details and we will be in touch shortly.
